Variety has reported that Warner Bros. were so pleased with Ben Affleck’s performance as Batman in the upcoming “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” that his next directing work which is an adaptation of the Dennis Lehane novel “Live By Night” has been deleaded from October 2016 to 2017, and The Accountant will also be pushed back from January 2016 to October 2016 so he can focus on his role in the DC cinematic universe.
Meanwhile Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice will be in theaters on March 26, 2016.

Very interesting! A bold move considering how badly the audiences reacted to Kilmer and Clooney, which would have been the final nail at the time. He must be really very good!!

I do like what I am seeing with Ben’s Batman, so I do hope he has a big role in the DCCU.
